Welcome to the Icekap Project

Icekap is an  icecap client for  KDE based on  Konversation.

Subversion Repository

The URL for the subversion repository is:  https://svn.allenjb.me.uk/svn/icekap

Anonymous checkouts are allowed. Anonymous commits are not allowed.

Ticket System

The ticket system isn't currently working, so I've created a wiki page for bugs.

Project Status

2007-07-04: Now have a basically functional client. Some features not implemented. Spending time implementing "nice" commands and re-implementing features which I half shredded up.

2007-04-16: The project is well under way with a lot of the backend work done. Currently working on creating windows for presences and channels and diverting events and messages to the correct window.

2007-02-24: This project has only just begun, so basically doesn't do anything useful yet. It's just Konversation with a new name.

Development Notes

To ensure the icekapui.rc file is found, symlink it with the following (ensuring the directory exists first: ln -s ~/<path-to-icekap-src>/trunk/icekap/src/icekapui.rc ~/.kde/share/apps/icekap/
